For the celebration of Saudi National Day 2025, Segal AV was honored to design and produce the full projection mapping content for the monumental entrance gate of the Islamic University of Madinah. The project transformed the iconic façade into a dynamic visual canvas, celebrating the spirit, unity, and forward vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Aligned with the official National Day slogan “Ezzna B Tab‘na” (عزّنا بطبعنا) — meaning “Our pride is rooted in our nature” — the creative direction reflected the intrinsic values that define Saudi identity: generosity, loyalty, courage, unity, and deep cultural authenticity. Rather than presenting pride as a surface celebration, the narrative emphasized how national strength emerges organically from the character and traditions of the Saudi people.
Our team developed a bespoke concept that highlighted the Kingdom’s historical depth and contemporary ambition, carefully integrating the architectural language of the gate into the storytelling process. The arches, ornamental details, and structural geometry became active elements within the visual narrative, allowing the content to interact seamlessly with the building itself.
Through a refined production pipeline combining 2D and 3D animation, architectural simulation, and precise projection mapping, we crafted an immersive large-scale experience. Animated calligraphy, national symbols, flowing green light compositions inspired by the Saudi flag, and rhythmic transitions were synchronized with a custom-designed soundtrack to amplify emotional resonance and collective engagement.
As the projections illuminated the historic entrance, the atmosphere reflected the essence of “Ezzna B Tab‘na” — pride not only in history and achievement, but in character, heritage, and shared identity. The result was a powerful public celebration where technology, culture, and emotion converged, transforming architecture into a living symbol of national pride.
This project stands as another milestone in Segal AV’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of projection mapping — not merely as a technical display, but as a meaningful cultural experience rooted in identity and belonging.
